I grew up all over the world.  By the time I graduated from high school, I had spent as much of my life living and traveling abroad as I had in the United States.  After high school I attended college in Utah, where I completed my undergraduate degree in painting and drawing.  I then moved to Philadephia, PA to start my graduate studies.  I received my Masters degree in Fine Art from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art.  At PAFA I had the honor of studying with such great artists and teachers as, Sydney Goodman, Renee Foulks, Vincent Desiderio, Scott Noel and Bruce Samuelson.  Upon finishing my formal education, I moved to the rural mountain west to set up a more permanent studio and life.   - RB
